Organics gemstones, PETRIFIED WOOD, DINOSAUR BONE and AMMONITE, “The Ancients”
Millions of years of the world’s history is contained within a Dinosaur Bone, Fossilised Coral, Petrified Wood, Amber, Fossilised Seabed, Pearl, Ammonite and more. Although most gemstones are mineral materials, several organic materials are also considered to be gemstones. The most common of these are pearl, bone, amber, coral, jet, and ivory. These are materials, produced by organisms, that have been cut into gems and other ornamental objects.
There are also organic materials that have been mineralized (replaced and infilled by chalcedony, opal, calcite, aragonite, pyrite, or other mineral material). Although the material itself is not organic, it does preserve an organic structure. Examples include petrified wood, fossil coral, dinosaur bone, and other fossilized organisms or parts of organisms.
Petrified Wood
Wood that comes from fossilized trees in which the wood is replaced over many millions of years by a mineral, usually quartz or agate, that will assume the shape of the original tree. It is said that Petrified Wood relieves back and hip pain, strengthens bones and skeletal alignment and helps illness that is difficult to diagnose or treat and those linked with the ageing process. It offers insight to access past lives through regression. A stone of transformation to let go of what no longer works in our lives. During meditation or healing work, petrified wood provides protection from negative energies and afterwards grounds your energies.
Dinosaur Bone
Agatized dinosaur bone is fossilized bone from dinosaurs in which the cellular structure has been replaced with quartz leaving the bone structure intact. It is said the stone is good for bone strength and fracture healing, bone-marrow, DNA and all hereditary conditions; can bring relief from chronic pain and lifelong illnesses. Eases grief after the death of a long-term mate, a child or the breakdown of a relationship. Hold when you are tired and draw strength from the accumulated ancient Earth Power; one of the most powerful and yet soothing energizers.
Ammonite
Fossilized sea creatures that first appeared about 435 million years ago and inhabited the sea in great numbers, living in the spiral shell now found as the Ammonite fossil. Protective against repeating old mistakes and from getting stuck in outmoded family roles with parents, partners and siblings; soothing near the cradle for babies after birth trauma such as prolonged or emergency deliveries and caesareans. It is said that holding an Ammonite assists recall of the Akashic records, the spiritual collective store of wisdom past, present and future.
