A trio of sweet purple light, AMETHYST
Prized for its beauty and its legendary energies for thousands of years, Amethyst is a member of the Quartz family with a trigonal crystal system and a hardness of 7. A stone of spiritual protection and purification. It stimulates the crown chakra and deepens meditation.
Cluster
An amethyst cluster encourages harmony and positive energy. A crystal cluster formation has multiple points embedded in the base, because of their formation they radiate energy – place on the brow and with your imagination direct its harmony into all other chakras in your body. Place on a particular chakra where you experience heaviness or are aware of negativity preventing you moving forward in happiness.
Cabochon
Is a gemstone which has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted. The resulting form is usually a convex (rounded) obverse with a flat reverse and is particularly suitable for crystal healing work as it lays flat on the body. Place it on your 3rd eye chakra during meditation for a deeper experience; hold it in your hand during times of internal reflection to more easily recognise the root causes behind behaviours, habits and emotional patterns which create imbalance and disease.
Chevron
A mixture of purple and white quartz, the Chevron Amethyst balances the physical system. The life force is filtered from the cosmos via the crown, represented by the white, through into the brow. Here it opens spiritual and psychic channels through the purple, as well as energizing and harmonising body and mind. For healing purposes pass the purple end counter clockwise over any problem area or slowly up the back of the body and down the front for whole body healing; use the white end to energize in the reverse order in a clockwise direction.
